Why do I have to go into settings for a bigger minimap?

The 100 value is still not that large. It's easy to change with notepad but it's a hassle I shouldn't need. Just make the sliding scale up to 300% or something. There are still so many settings that one needs to manually change and it's a bit annoying. I want to have the perfect setup for my taste and style. It should be super easy to achieve that with maximum flexibility just from the GUI. Maybe have an advanced mode for the GUI if it feels like too much.

Funny I made mine as small as I can.

As long as we’re talking about settings, I have zero clue what to do about how to hover someone’s name without the box being WAY off-screen. I’d like to be able to read Summoner names and club tags but the displacement being so far out, I cannot do that in the match itself. If I have to arm during the initial game load-in, how am I to tell if there’s premades?

Reminder that League can't be played on 4k settings because map icons and healthbars don't scale properly. This may be fixed now (I don't have 4k so I can't check), but it wasn't for years so I doubt it. The champions on your map literally look like ants.

It's not that hard to hop In a custom match with some bots and set your style and UI to what works for you. Here I am changing keybind settings and sensitivities based on what champ I play, every match, and you're worried about the minimap.

As far as it's size.

  1. 300% would get in the way of what's going on on screen, I can't see how a lot of people who would actually want that.

  2. Something about information is power and proper use of your minimap is a skill and sets players apart. If it was bigger it would be easier. Another element of skill stripped from the game.

  3. Unified competitive advantage/disadvantage. Same reason everyone can only zoom out the same distance.

You don't have to agree with 2 and 3 all you want but it is what it is and those are two big reasons why it is how it is.
