What happened to Karma mid?

I remember back in s6, people played it a lot. I havent seen a karma mid this season. Wondering what happened? her burst is still fine.

I think people just feel she's better as a support. She can get the early level two for an all in or she can poke the enemy out of bot. She can do the same thing in mid but picking karma mid doesn't have the same impact as bot since midlane she's just a wave clear mage. She has to focus on CSing and to keep up with some of the midlaners crazy wave clear she's forced to use her primary damage tool.

Personnally, I've seen more Karma mid in s7 than in s6. Maybe it depends of elos? But she sure is played a lot recently.

From what I've seen, she's played a little more mid this season than last. But generally you will see her support more so than mid because it's easier for her to operate there. She scales much better from mid, but most people would rather pick a hard carry over a team dependant utility mage. If she still had the bonus damage on RW and RE she would definitely be seen more mid, especially to counter the popular assassins.
