Why is Essence Reaver Yi allowed to exist?

Essence Reaver works so well with his kit with how much he autos, his ult reset and how slippery he gets. Him being able to alpha strike much more than normal is going to be a headache. Will this be looked into? Because I don't want to have to ban Yi every game I play now.
