Riot don't even pretend too care about solo Q now.

Their balance team is only buffing for LCS and skins. Game balance right now isnt really bad due too incompetence, just the power creep is.

Lets not pretend these changes are helping pro play in any way. If the balance team actually wanted to help pro play, they would be nerfing the top tier champions and not buffing the mid tier ones.

I mean if Riot nerfed the top tier pro play champs any more they would go to like a 30% WR in solo queue.

Elise is a pro pick staple. Riot directly buffed her E. Which is used in pro play to tower dive incredibly early, incredibly safely.

Kha has terrorised pro play as well as solo queue. Riot buffed him in a way that would affect competitive (by buffing his evolved W slow).

Thresh is another staple and now he can use his main playmaking tool with a lot more reckless abandon.

Darius also saw moderate play over this entire season. Riot buffed his Triforce build (the build literally every pro used).

Tahm has the fourth highest pick/ban presence over the entire season in competitive, and he loses 10% of his base HP at level 1.

Odd how all these changes just so happened to be done on the patch that Worlds is going to be played on.

Notice how none of those champions needed buffs in pro play. They were already staple picks and balancing around pro play would mean nerfing those champions. The balance team has been making questionable decisions for 2 years, just because this specific patch is before words doesn't mean the changes will balance pro play at all.
