Why is the 2 turret mission premade 5 only??

I just completed the mission on my third game this week, but it's not unlocked yet... Turns out that it's also behind the wonderful 5-man barrier. I get it with the previous 2 missions where you need to troll the game to complete it. This one, however, can be completed easily in legitimate games. Yes, you can force it which makes you play suboptimal, but that also goes for getting neutral objectives, placing 50 wards (just stand in base with sightstone and spam away), etc.

Riot, please give up on the 5 man premade missions. All it does is aggravate a large percentage of your player base, and does nothing to satisfy the rest of the players. Just admit the experiment is a failure and learn from the mistake... don't do it again.

I think the reason some of these quests require premade is because they are the sort of quest which require cooperation.

The problem is not that they think pugs are incapable of cooperating, but that it might cause someone wanting to get the mission done to rage at a teammate that does not help them do it.

I can certainly imagine a lot of people getting yelled at for taking the turret in their lane once they are able instead of waiting a wave or two for another lane to be ready.

That goes for other missions too, though. I nearly raged when I still failed to complete the 'rift herald + win' mission after 18 games. I guess I'm an exception here (managed to complete it on the very last game I was able to play before the reset) but there have definitely been people frustrated with certain missions.

But the difference with those is it is "Just an objective" Instead of "Do this disgustingly specific thing"

Dont get rift? Eh ill do it in another game. SOMEONE will want to get this. Cannot kill 2 turrets in 15 seconds due to poor coordination in solo? Rage Building

All the 'teamwork' themed missions are 5 man, which I guess makes sense sorta, although I don't like it, particularly in this case where your teamwork with randoms can get the job done.

They're "crying" because not everyone is able to get a 5-man premade. But funfact: I wasn't. I honestly don't care. I was just stating that not everyone can afford to buy the pass. I never once said in my post that I was annoyed by the teamwork missions or anything.

You should probably learn when people are crying or not. Because I could've gotten the pass if I wanted it, but as I said, I just don't care.

They still are though :) so doesn't change the facts. It's free mission, that has a tiny reward, and Riot said they'd stick to those when they make group missions.

I did every mission except the 5 premade ones. Turns out I am 5 tokens short of getting a second worlds orb for a skin shard.... Feelsbadman. [sg-soraka]

Well, I've done all the mssions too without the premades, and still don't really feel like I'm missing much. There is still one more week of missions after all. So, you've got time.

It's different, though. The other 2 missions require you to do a specific team comp in champion select: x5 TP or all melee. This one can be done with randoms without specifically trying to complete the mission.

Riot really should just limit certain missions (IE ones that can be detrimental to the game) to normal games.

lmao dude we are just stating that its hard and not all have friends that have time to play with them or other reasons. we don't cry over the mission, we are actually happy about them, but with everything else that's new they want criticism back and that's what we are giving them. do what i did, open discord (or download if you somehow don't have it) and join the league of legends group and scroll down to your region then further down to lfg (event name) missions and get your group there

I miss client based chat groups and hope they come back

you don't need a mic to use discord, it has chat built in, so you can still use it to find friends but as I said I miss the in-client chat groups

I asked that in a similar thread. Seems the majority think that quickly sieging towers is trolling. Lol. And "troll-like missions" (ie 5 tp's, no ranged champs, etc) are best suited for 5 man premades.
