Need Advice From Better Players: How do I deal with being 3 man camped?

CitadelOfIce··2 votes·723 views

This happens to me all the time. I'm playing one of my mains, I'm kicking my lane opponents butt when all the sudden the enemy Jg and Sup/Mid comes rocking out of the side brush or over a wall and Flash Ult me or me and my ADC. I die or get forced out, come back and they stay there, or like a full six minutes to insure that there laner gets back up to level with the rest of them. Bot never takes advantage of the sup missing and mid never roams to help out. Our JG takes the opportunity to counter Jungle.

What the heck can I do in this situation? My Team never seems to be interested in using map pressure and or focus to punish the other team. I know Solo players have a way of dealing with this. I need to learn it.

Ward and try not to push the land to hard. Outside that if you're playing an immobile champ there isn't much you can do.

There's no way to deal with it, you need to get your team to push while you play def, or to come and help you.

But, if you can defend your turret and don't die, enemies should still lose more on this than your team, even if those scrubs just practice freezing instead of pushing. This might not be easily - or at all - doable against stuff like Vi+Lux.

Wards! Wards wards, wards wards wards. Wards! You ward the entrance to your jungle, and you ward your tri and river. Then when you see the enemy roaming, you ping him 40 times and collapse 3v1 on him.

Wards don't matter. I do ward, I survive the gank most of the time. It's the fact that I'm there is suddenly a 3 or 4 man lane and I'm the only one who seems able to do a damn about it since everyone else thinks it's farm time.

You play safer? You ward and play to the side of your wards, but obviously your wards cant cover everything. It helps if you have your jungler warding (but most wont, so dont expect that), and like I said play safer.

There will be points in the game where you can go agro on your enemy laner, but its so much better to play like a bitch and farm it out.

If you spot the jungler bot or top, you know where he is for the next 20-40 seconds, so you have a window of opportunity to do something.

Sum up: All you have to know is, if you dont have the vision and know where the enemy jungler is, dont push your lane, and try to freeze it in the middle/farm under tower. Quite simple really.

Im a big fan of champions who can push their lane in and look for an opportunity to roam, so maybe try those champs?

You also need to consider other things like... how mobile is my champion. I play Ahri , and shes very forgiving, but you play Kayle , and yes you can dominate your lane, yes you can win 1 v 1, but you're not mobile, and if youre bullying them without wards/enough vision, and youre so far pushed up, its free moneys, ofc we'd come for you.

(This is coming from a jungle main.)

There has got to be something. This crap happens every time I play Top or Sup.

I just turtle and when they try to turret dive me (If i have stuns or slows) I purposely let the squishiest one get close let him first hit me and then stun him under turret.. That way if you're gunna die atleast you take one or more of them with ya

Make it a habit to get pink wards if you have money left on your backs. Ward if your lane is pushing up close to turrets. Save your wards if your lane is not pushed. Ward in critical places to get a wider vision. (ie. When im mid, I live to pink ward the tiny round bushes instead of the one closer to lane.) Ward as your roam.

Heres a tip and scenario. If your lane is pushed to their tower but some of the enemy champs are missing, fall back unless they are dead, then keep going for tower. But also what others have said, it depends what champion you are playing, because some champs like ahri, its easy to escape with, and champs like syndra or annie have no means of escape so pretty much youre doomed.

Just ward, and keep an eye where the enemy champs are. And again, if youre not playing a champ with mobility, just accept the loss and hope you can get back up again.

You 1v3 them

Then say wow i was lagging

Then you quit the game and let your team 4v5 them

That's six minutes where three of them are gaining way less experience than you are. Camping you like that is incredibly inefficient. If you can keep from getting killed it's a huge advantage for your team.

This is true except typically I'm the only one winning lane when this happens. It sets them back to just above my team instead of way above my team. I need to learn how to solo carry a bunch of non factors.

try being aware of which area is losing the most pressure by pressuring you and ping "attack" on objectives around there to give your team a little direction.

I am only b5, so take my opinion with a bit of salt (the good kind, not the bad kind). I would say that if you are being camped, and especially if they are straight up 1v3ing you, chill under your tower. Unless they all decide to freeze-farm the lane, the minions will be soon be pushed to your tower. This forces the enemy to either go somewhere else, or sit outside the tower, waiting to be ganked by your jngler. If you are playing a ranged dude, try to get some poke in while you're waiting for assistance.
