Zilean Self-Cast on Q

Has there been any thought from game designers to letting Zilean self cast his bomb and then reset and detonate on himself? After changes to Zilean one of the things I really miss is ability to duel with dependable burst damage. This is just a very unlikely option with the skill shot q. I think if an enemy closes on Zilean he should be able to self cast his bomb reset and detonate on himself. Zilean is squishy and this is a fair buff. He is less fun to play now without reliable double up bombs for me. Be interested to know how people on boards and designers feel about this possible buff.

Bump. Think this is a fair question. Any rioter with a response as to why Zilean cannot self-cast bombs? Would be interesting play combo for Zilean where he could ult himself and then bomb and double bomb while being dove. Interesting dynamic playing against Zilean is who is he gonna ult. Self-cast bombs do not change this dynamic. They just give a way to fight back when someone dives ya with at least a little precision. Assuming designers get problem Zilean has being precise with double up now? Self-cast bombs would give a little of the flavor back of old Zilean and also allow kamikaze charge. The guy is old. He may wanna go out like dat.

Searched this and bumped. I got very used to self casting bombs on q, and it is a natural feel for smartcast since you already regularly selfcast R and E regularly.

I can see this affecting balance a little bit, especially if it means that self casting q becomes instant-cast, but I feel the trade off of risk is appropriate.
