Should Singed receive a massive nerf or do I seem too entitled

I dedicated seven years of my life to this champion. Most of those years he was seen as a terrible pick, meaning I was free to play him all I want. As of 2018, he's just become too popular of a pick or banned and, under hard times already, this really strains me because I just want to play my champion. In a pretty meaningful conversation with someone far better (Challenger) than me at the champion, we had a discussion how last year there were some less than forty recurring Singed players in Diamond that could easily be kept track of as friends. Now though? There are hundreds of dedicated players, if not people just regularly picking him up to play on the fly.

At this point, I would really just not mind a massive attack on the champion's power if it just keeps attention away. But really, would it be justified or do I just seem too entitled to the champion? I mean look at his winrate for so long now.
