The new power creep (hint: It's not Mobility, it's not damage)

Globals. Especially teleports.

There are WAY to many champions with Global/Semi-Global Ults coming out, and even more if you count abilities that can make an impact at extremely high range.

Think about it. So many recent champions have had ridiculous global ults.

Examples:

Ryze -Shittier Tahm Kench ult that can screw your team

Kled - Global Lock in Targetted CC (essentially better Sion ult)

AurelionSol - E (not that strong, but good for roams)

Taliyah - Trump Wall

TahmKench - Shittier TF ult that travels WAY slower, although you can take another player

Jhin -Not an ult, bus his W has the longest range of any basic ability in the game

Bard -Semi-Global Ult for initiation as well as peel and saves

RekSai -Don't even get me started on this competitive balance nightmare

Now I'm not saying any of these champions are OP, but it creates the problem of "Why pick X Champion when I can pick Y champion?"

For example, in pro play, why would I pick TwistedFate when I could just pickTaliyah , who doesn't have a click shot stun, but her wall and W are strong enough ganking tools of their own, and has better waveclear and teamfight presence?

Why would I pickNocturne over RekSai ? She brings more CC (AOE knock up vs Single Target Fear) has more map mobility with E, while still having a global ult.

Well, at least the good news is that maybe with all this Global Ult Creep, we could see Karthus get some buffs and come back.
