Why does Xayah have both untargetability AND a root

Two mechanics that are highly coveted by ADCs because it's so powerful on them. It's like if Varus or Ashe had a dash.

Idk I never thought about Xayah like that, but it's pretty dumb imo.

Because she has no mobility outside of her ultimate? Every single immobile marksman bar MF, Sivir and Kog have some form of hard CC in their kits.

No other ADC has untargetability. The other ADCs with really good hard CC have no mobility or defense of any kind.

This is because according to riot, adcs should be able to solo kite assassins 1v1 and kill them because it’s an “outplay”. Meanwhile if an assassin manages to outplay cc it is toxic.
