No it's not. Riot uses skinner box techniques and heaps of what we in the game industry call "juice" or "game feel" to excite our monkey brains into believing we're having a good time when in reality, it's a stressful mess of a game that only feels good to win, because that's what gives you that craved dopamine hit.
League of Legends is designed like a fucking drug to stave you over with high tension and stress until you can get that next "bump" from seeing the pretty blue colors and the word "victory" on your screen, just to start over and do it all again with the next game.
The skins, the flashy champions, all designed to look good with no relevance on whether or not it's actually fun to play with or against. It's why champions like Yuumi, Pyke and most recently new Pantheon exist. They draw you in with pretty lights and flashing colors and this ever-present esport being shoved down your throat literally every time you open the client, telling you "this could be you!" as you watch 16-year-old Korean prodigies play the game at the highest level it's ever been played, legit hyping you up that with enough dedication and talent and if you just play enough, that could be you. When it's all bullshit.
Riot has banked their entire marketing strategy on appeasing our lizard brains who are mesmerized shiny dots and brain chemicals to feel good.
League is a game that, objectively speaking, is very fun to watch. And that's exactly how Riot have designed it. It's a fun game to WATCH, but it's not a fun game to play. The esport culture has taken over the game and has set the creative direction in a vector that it can never recover from. Riot will forever keep shoving the game into your face with promises of more of that "victory crack".
Tell me, do you actually have fun playing the game? Or do you just have fun winning? I think most players only get satisfaction from the game when they're winning it, as indicated by the absolute anger they feel when they're losing. They're being denied that drug hit. They're being prevented that "feel good" that Riot has trained them to crave and they get FUCKING IRATE, acting shockingly similar to a drug addict who's being prevented from getting their next fix. They'll blame and scream and shout and wish death on you, all because of Riot and the way they've designed the emotional state of the game.
And if you lose, if you're denied that feel good, you'll queue up again, because you desperately need it. And you'll feel even worse and worse every game you're denied it.
Don't believe me? Play 1 game in NA soloqueue and start losing. You'll get 2-3 players on your team raging and bitter because of you. People don't act like this in real life. People aren't like this in real life. This is a psychological trap that Riot have created to keep people addicted to the game and when things start going wrong, they look for anything and anyone to blame and hate.
