So how does everyone feel about the removal of small-scale reworks with class updates?

For those who missed it: Riot has decided to stop doing small scale changes (Think Fizz or Vel'koz's changes in their respective updates) in favor of only large-scale reworks ala Malzahar, Talon, etc.

Good? Bad? Like? Dislike?

personally i rather we only see large scale reworks with the class updates and then see smaller changes to champs that got hit too hard or got overbuffed afterwards

I can't see this as a class update. It's just three mini-reworks, with standard midseason item changes.

Class-wide updates should never have been a thing.

It created an expectation that there had to be a large amount of changes to a bunch of champions each season.

It didn't matter if the changes were cheap

Or low quality

They just had to shove the changes out there because they wanted waves of new people to be interested even at the cost of small groups already invested in champions no one complained about en mass.

Eventually they're gonna slow down, run out of ideas, or massively recycle shit...

And the community will be there to complain about Riot not bringing out more content

Because by that time, they'll be so used to massive changes, it won't matter how good the quality is because it wasn't as much as before.

...

There was nothing wrong with releasing a champion, releasing a skin, or updating a champion who actually needed it here or there while trying to balance out the game.

TL;DR Quantity over Quality at Riot Games

I would have preferred them take longer to tweak more champions, especially with how much I doubt I'm going to like the sejuani update

hardly feels like a tank update when only 3 champs got changed and some particularly big offenders Malphite Nautilus Gnar didn't get looked at
