I went 17/0/4 with 95 cs and i still didn't get an s rank. How the banana peppers is that not an s rank, this is bull. how do you get an s rank? I also played a game not to long ago which a vayne went 4/4/11 with 70 cs and got an s
95 CS is pretty bad for even a game as short as 25 minutes. It seems the system might put a little too much focus on CS right now, though.
how long were the games... because 95 cs is really bad... and it takes a while to get 17 kills
You didn't mention what champ you were. For example, that's a horrible score for a support.
what champ were you because what riot explained to me was that it counts u agaisnt every one on that same champ and averages it out sooooo that maybe why. i get nothing but S on zil and look at my stats compare them to yours, thsi would make sense cause no one really plays as zil that much
What about damage values, objective kills and cs. Just because you sniped kills doesn't mean you actually contributed much. Your CS is pretty awful.
Do you have a smartphone? Try checking out lol sumo; its a pretty good app that shows how relatively well you do. It uses the same stats riot does, so if you get, say, master rank in everything, youre going to get S ranks.
But what other people have said is true; S ranks are obtained when you BEAT the average score. Score is KDA/wards/damage/CS as far as we know, and your score is compared against the average. If you DO get an S-rank, youre actually making it harder for anyone else to get an S-rank with that champion in that role.
you also have to ward a lot and how long did the game go because by the time you typically get 17 kills you should have time for a lot more than S rank
Btw if you are 10/0 its not really that impressive if you get up to 17/0 if all you were doing was wasting time. Consider this. Just means you were killing people who no longer had much chance while you wasted time doing nothing important or were playing a champ that's good at killing and contributed little else.
Additionally you have to do significantly better than the average player so if everyone else does the same in the same amount of time you get nothing.
