hourglass also got a cd nerf by 30 seconds and lost 30 ap. 10% cdr is nice but the ability power loss still stings

Oh my god. What a nerf. Now instead of a item 1058 you will get to complete an item with item 3108 Now not only will you get one of the best actives in the game, but also some nice cdr. Mage mains are complaining boys.

The updates had one thing in common - bring down AP ratio while increasing utlity to offer counterplay. Take brand for example lost several AP ratios but gets a passive that can be powerful when he lands everything. Same with Cassi but she gets the ability to "ground" people. Same with Malzahar by losing the flat damage on his ult and his Q and E ratios going down - do I need to go on?

Brand, Cassiopeia, Malzahar, Vel'Koz, Vladimir, Zyra Got major, but still partial, updates

Anivia, Annie, Fiddlesticks, Swain, Syndra, Veigar, Xerath, Ziggs Were given minor tweaks to ability functions and visuals.

14 out of 53 mages(~25%) is hardly all mages. And exactly 0 got a total update with visuals and every part of their kit reworked/tweaked. Cassiopia was close, but she is only 1, not all 53.

And mages being a ruling class? Let me remind you that Marksmen have not been out of meta once. Whereas mages have waxed and waned.

Also, you are kinda being dishonest, sure item 3157 cost if taken down a bit, but its getting stat changes

Now you basically get the item if you need the active, which is less available.

There are at least 40 mages in the game. Those changed in the mage update don't even make up for a quarter of them.

PREACH MY MAN PREACH. you took the words out of my mouth that is what i was thinking about the forums for a while now.

when an assassin is strong hell break lose and HARD 2.

But when a mage becomes strong/broken nothing happens when lux was broken for a while with 55% winrate i would hit the forums to see 1 or 2 posts about her max a week.

and now look at the zed posts people are going crazy.

i mean when most classes look at an item like hexdrinker as the GO TO MR item, and not something like spectres cowl or spirit visage, there's ap roblem
