So Taliyah seems to be balanced around being able to instagib anybody with the help of her jungler

Near-instant ranged knockback towards herself. Basically inescapable unless you're fizz or ezreal. But she's dependent on whether or not her jungler has good damage and/or CC. Because if so, it's the very definition of free kills every single gank followed by a free mid tower and complete map domination with her roaming and your mid being about half her level because they have no safe way of going anywhere near the lane.

I'm not even saying she's OP. I'm saying she's either weak as shit without a compatible jungler, or a zero counterplay inevitable snowballing monster when with a synergistic jungler.

Riot are you ever going to start designing champion kits that aren't pure snowballing toxic hell that ruin the game for everyone involved? Just do us all a favor and delete every single champion that has been added to the game since CertainlyT was hired.

Some of those work. Bard doesn't. Ahri has to actually hit 6 to be able to dash. Corki's dash isn't instant so he might get away while he has flash up but the next time he's screwed, valkyrie or not.

I mean you basically have to pick cancer in this game or you can't enjoy a game. That's poor game design.

Or not misposition yourself and get caught. If you have good positioning you won't need to dash/flash or anything.

SHE'S A RANGED CHAMPION. If you walk near the creep wave you're "out of position".

Lately, I've picked her up because her playstyle is similar to Ahri's and I can say for a fact she doesn't need a jungler if you play her right (I've won my lane against a few mobile champs so far) so there's that. As for keeping out of her w, it's such a short range and takes a full 2 seconds to knock up. Keep moving, don't try to stay in one place and just try to predict where she's going to w, walking directly away is usually the best option.

Don't take this as "I'm a Taliyah main, I know everything," but figured a few of these tips that I've learned from the few games I've played as and against them. Jungler can help, but it's the same as with ANY mid laner. Pick one at random and I'm positive they all snowball. Mages and assassins harder because that is what they're designed to do. Control mages like her make sure you can't CS, how do you play around it? Just think "oh hey, I should zig-zag to make it harder for them to land that particular ability." or "I can farm under tower, making them over extend."
