Do you use ANY of these champs?

(even if you can't jungle...) These are the guys I generally play (taric i am working on...)and there all decently easy to get only costing 1350 IP (if only they fixed IP gain. 40 min game only gets like 60-70 IP with a loss) But I have never seen them used by a teammate or opponent(apart from rammus once or twice...) is there some negative quality I am missing? I have 50 wins in classic mode(still...partially new?) and chances are I keep my W/L like my FPS K/D. nearly one to one. but back to the subject,with said wins and losses I have played a ton of games. but Sion,Taric,and Ziliean I have yet to see. are they just unpopular? if you ask me I think they have great moves. + and your doing like 200 damage late game when people hit you I just feel is a good champ(especially when people don't know your passive or put ez in chat when they get a kill.) and . well he gets a 99% slow on little to no cool.

zilean and sion are always fun to play, even if you don't win tbh

zilean is pretty chill, I don't play but like Sion because he's a balanced tank, idk about Rammus and Taric only has a good stun and a decent ult, can make 5 people invulnerable but it takes 3 seasons for it to finally cast

the reason why you dont see sion is because there are many other champions that do is job more effectively. He has one of the most telegraphed kits in the game. Though he has a winrate that suggests hes balanced, there are too many other champions that have more reliable CC and damage at later stages of the game.

Zilean is great. At 45% cdr he can practically perma-speed up one person. Has a REALLY REALLY(like lux ult low) cd on his ult which scales with 200(I think)% of your ap. Has a great aoe stun that scales with 90% of your ap, and is never really a target in team fights. Zilean is just forgotten really. + he doesn't really have a heal for laning phase like most "traditional supports do" Btw I have lvl 6 mastery on zilean.

There are 130 champs, you don't see them all that often. Also the champs you see will be about 60% flavor of the month. If one pro does a penta with ryze, expect to see a Ryze every third game, but before that happened he was super rare.

I'd argue zilean is probably the "funnest" support mage you can play mid. Even if you spend the entire game missing bombs and using your ulti to save idiot teammates, you're probably doing more than you'd do on the likes of lulu/karma anyways.
