Seekers arm guards gives you alot of armor for 1200 gold up too 45 armor many of the midlaners that are also other ad midlaners vs zed have alot of counter play/outplay potential ex is talon uses his ult whenever zed tries to ult him or yas just dashes around using minions to dodge alot the dmg
Also its not hards to go double dorans and have enough to get seekers and there is the mastery meditation if your something like ziggs or xerath on your first back you should be able to get the armguards and boots or like i said another dorans/fotbidden idol
although I do agree there should be an ad zhonyas item for adc's qss is still pretty good especially since you get lifesteal from mericuals as late game adc's do the most damage among everyone a assassins job is to get behind the enemy's frontline to kill the squishies
Zed falling off isnt just there being tanks its also when there is alot of counterplay items like qss and zhonyas or even the adc or mid laner just out dmging zed
If you are a imobile adc like jinx or sivir you shouldnt be by yourself if you are playing them right you should be with your supp or tank who can provide peel for you with cc
dodging the shurikens isnt hard TBH if I do get hit alot its probabbly because he is better than me and like i said doubble dorans or just the meditation mastery gives enough mana regen to farm safely with ease and harass without going oom
