I just buffed my ADC with it every fight and since it was Vayne, I know that 100% of her magic damage dealt would be from that buff. So I checked at the end of the game, and she did a grand total of 446 magic damage to champions. Seems like it made no difference.

Vayne doesn't do magic damage. It had to be from my buff.

Stars Shaper1 votesIt seems all the enemies had a medium/heavy MR item built and since Vayne has 0 MP I guess this gutted lots of damage. Might be better for Kayle herself since she is an AP AA.

ardent censor is extremly op for that price, thanks god there is no upgrade to that because it would be unbelievable op. you give a shield with ardent censor to a kog maw+runnican, the damage is completly ridiculous. I think it need to be toned down with runican imo.

currently it does 30damage every hit its shît, imo it need to have 30*7=210damage.
ya if ardent censor gave 210free damage/hit it would be balanced. i must contact riot email so they add this balance to their next patch.

I spammed my heal on her in fights. Also every time we ganked together I used it at the start of the gank.

Compared to Raka who can spam it indefinitely, Ali who can give it to his entire team, Janna, Sona, Nami, or Lulus 6 second shield/heal proc, all better candidates than Kayle . Janna can also give it to her entire team, although that probably isn't WHY you should use your ult...

Doesn't work, Ardent Censor now only applies its effect to champions.
OT: That number seems unreasonably low, even if the entire enemy team had some form of MR, Vayne would've had to auto an extraordinarily low amount of times.
If we assume (and I don't exactly know the math off the top of my head to be perfectly honest) each proc was reduced to 10 magic damage onhit, that means Vayne only auto'd 44 times for the entire duration of her having your buffs / shield (Does Kayle's ult count as a buff for Ardent Censor?).
And thats assuming it went down to 10, if its any higher than that, it would mean she auto'd even less.
Edit: Vayne also may not be the best user of this to begin with, given that her autos kill people pretty fast due to silver bolts (thus decreasing the magic damage anyway by virtue of simply autoing less to kill people).

I didn't check if my ult worked, but I don't think it matters too much considering the CD.

I'm not surprised that she didn't auto much with the buff on because I have to apply it to her at the right moments when she's going to be attacking people.
And also, if she's killing people fast enough that the buff becomes irrelevant, that's great... but why would I want an ADC who kills slower? The thing is all ADCs kill pretty fast because crits and stuff. I don't think 30 magic damage on hit is very good. That's why nobody uses Wit's End.

They just changed it so it doesn't affect minions anymore.

Khristophoros1 votesIf you compare Ardent Censor to Luden's Echo, the person you buff has to attack 4 times to equal the damage you'd get from a single Luden's Proc. That's assuming Luden's is your only AP item. Luden's also adds more AP so it buffs your shields and heals more.
Lwnt1 votesHey man I dont think the game records the number properly when it comes to ardent censar. I see that with help pix for lulu, where the magic damage on vayne didnt add up to the amount of time I help pix vayne and I was builiding Ability power lulu.
