I just had a few placement questions guys?

I just got out of prison last year, after 10 years in. So, i'm not savvy with the forums, and looking up past threads. Please don't flame me. :D

-If I do great personally, in each of my placement games, but lose all 10. Where am I looking at being placed, in best case?

-I main jungle, and top lane. I have 3 solid picks for each role. Is that enough, to consider doing my placements?

-Is it better to find a duo partner for placements, even though I solo both roles?

-Do all the normal games I've played, affect my MMR?

-Since getting LVL 30, they have constantly placed me in games, with golds and plats for normals. What does that mean exactly? I still have Tier 2 runes because i'm poor! Haha.

-Is it better to play my placements for the first time ever on the account now, in late season? Or wait until the new season starts? When is the average MMR the lowest?

Thanks for any, who take the time to respond. :D

Normals have nothing to do with ranked MMR. if u play with golds and plats in normals its pretty good indication that you will eventually end up in ranked at around gold-platinum elo. for the rest your 3 solid picks and 2 roles are definitely enough. If you do great you won't lose 10 games :) though really terrible luck can happen. From my own experience: With 6w and 4L as support main i got placed in Silver II. And on my smurf, with 8W and 2L as mid/top( i only played lissandra), i got placed in gold III. So placements do affect a lot - if you have really good friends that are really good at this game, it would definitely be better to do your placements with them, though how much it will affect your MMR - i have no idea, nor anybody does, as MMR is like a top secret Riot never shows.

About maybe waiting for a new season - i dont know. This season started pretty rough with a "soft" reset - people in bronze 1-silver 1 even after very good placements always ended up in in very low bronze 5 or 4 rank. If the next season we get a soft reset too, and if you start ranked now, then you will have only like maybe 2-3 months to climb. Will you be able to climb to where you are supposed to be in ? That's quite doubtful, but its enough to climb to something decent. Also of course - get tier 3 runes ASAP!

Though if i was you, i would just hop straight into ranked and not care. In the end this is just a game, enjoy it and play. If we have a soft reset again, then still you will have the whole next year to climb. For the rest - ranked is much more fun and intense than normals, so just play a game :)
