Foreign Players
What is the stance on players who don't belong to a particular region but choose to play there anyway? I imagine its generally okay, but it can lead to some pretty unsavory circumstances. For instance, last game I had 4 people on my team that were of some Oriental race(I apologize that I do not know which one) and either didn't speak English or simply chose not to.
I could not communicate with my team that game. And even if I could, they largely chose to ignore me anyway. The enemy jungler and his ally our in our jungle trying to take our red? I ping for help, no one comes. I die 2v1 and then they immediately begin trash talking me. The only things they said in English were basically "stupid jg" "you suck" "noob". I actually had to mute them because they literally did not stop talking the entire game and spammed the chat with whatever language they did speak. On top of that, they claimed to(and I would believe it) be playing with 1200 ping. /
How is it fair, to me, to get stuck with 4 people who do not even speak the same language as me yet also are playing with extreme lag because they chose to play on a foreign server? The answer is it simply isn't. It's not even that they were necessarily bad, but merely that idea of teamwork was completely lost over the language barrier. They either ignored everything I said or couldn't understand it, and I don't really know what is worse. And while this is probably just me overly conscious, but I honestly felt like they were talking bad about me the entire game. From a logical viewpoint it was probably just regular conversation, but it was very unnerving to constantly see it, especially after I died or didn't manage to pick up a kill or otherwise generally made a mistake or had gotten outplayed. As if that wasn't bad enough, we were being severely dominated and they refused to surrender forcing me to to play a toxic game we were bound to lose.
I don't know, maybe I just needed to write this out to feel better about it, but it seems entirely unfair and should have precautions against it.
