Why is it that if you leave a long matchmaking queue, and then go right back into another....

...it seems to find a match quicker.

It's not just my imagination. I was just in one that was longer that 15 minutes, left, then rejoined and got matched right up.

It's possible it's just my imagination, but it seems like there is something breaking down at some point in the process....

nevermind this no longer works....

When it gets really long it's some sort of bug.

It used to be I could leave, and then whatever was wrong got 'cleared' and you found a match, but something seems really wrong as of today, can't get a match at all.

But when will Riot notice and fix it is the question?

Gonna have to wait until next release. They are at lunchtime in Santa Monica, probably all at hot dog on a stick patting themselves on the back....

Dunno maybe their dq code got hacked and destroyed; the world could only hope.

Here's the real reason. When you get into a long queue, it means that you are being matched with other solo players. If you leave and return, and it is faster this time, you are likely being matched with a premade group. It's no bug, if you enjoy playing with other solo players, longer queue time is a good indication that you will get that.

Wow, thanks, if this is true, then that's really good information...
