This is a temporary splash (and in my sincere opinion better than the old one, don't know what's all the fuss about it).

Hopefully it's temporary. I expect they'll be replacing this skin splash with a new, higher-quality one. Problem is how long it'll take.

They called it unification, so all the servers have the same artwork. The ones from other servers could just be newer and we are getting a chance to see if we like them before they just go replacing every single old splash art. Some of the ones they traded out are actually pretty cool. Silverfang Akali is a great example! The "new" Musketeer Twisted Fate is a great example of what we didn't like as much.
