Is it wise to alienate your highest grossing champion skin market?

Thjat's right, I'm talking about the new cottontail teemo artwork.

I feel like telling this art department that the new teemo artwork is beneath their usually excellent art standards going to fall on deaf ears no matter how nice we are about it, so let me take another stab at it from economic perspective. ...

You're selling a whole story and experience when you sell a skin. What kind of janky experience does one get from this:

..not the kind that makes someone want to spend $10.

m'kay?

The story is: Teemo got high af, and decided to wear an Easter bunny costume because all the little girls and boys needed their chocolate eggs that year.

here's the thing, I don't care how high he is, he would still not look like that. It's just like they gave the project to the guy in the art department which hated teemo and put no effort into making him look kawai cuteness.

This is a temporary splash (and in my sincere opinion better than the old one, don't know what's all the fuss about it).

His eyes are like pressed in. This looks so bad it's kinda funny lmao.

Hopefully it's temporary. I expect they'll be replacing this skin splash with a new, higher-quality one. Problem is how long it'll take.

They called it unification, so all the servers have the same artwork. The ones from other servers could just be newer and we are getting a chance to see if we like them before they just go replacing every single old splash art. Some of the ones they traded out are actually pretty cool. Silverfang Akali is a great example! The "new" Musketeer Twisted Fate is a great example of what we didn't like as much.
