Presently, only Nocturne and Sivir have spell shield abilities. Everybody else has to get Banshee's Veil to get that effect.
Are spell shields simply an effect Riot likes to avoid, or is there another reason why it's so seldom? I'd certainly love to see a support Champion who can cast one on a teammate.
(And NO, Morgana doesn't count. Black Shield can't block a Pantheon Spear.)
