Hi i am trying to climb as a jungler.

So let me just say climbing this ladder is one of the hardest things i have ever done, i fancy engage tanks, its what i always play, and i generally play them well. Zac is my main, but no matter what i do, no matter how good or bad the engage is, there just never seems to be follow up damage.

Should I stop playing engage tanks in silver and just focus on simplistic carries like yi xin and kog? It has actually gotten to the point where im conidering abandoning my niche.

I accept that not every game is winnable, but lately, it seems like no lane is winnable. Im constantly falling back to 0 lp and i cant seem to turn it around.

Mindblowing things ive seen in silver today :

  • A sivir with less than 100 farm 28 minutes into the game.
  • A jax top with 6 components for 3 different items at 25 minutes, with 0 things finished.

What is the best way to carry nonsense like this as a jungler? I literally do not care about downvotes because "carry harder scrub and dont blame your team, everything is your fault"

Im simply asking** HOW**. HOW DO I CARRY MY TEAM?

I don't have grand dreams of challenger this season, its my first one, im striving for gold v.

I'd reccomend playing stuff like amumu and going grenade. It's so funny building item 1402 item 3047 item 3151 and half healthing the enemy ADC with just a R E

You deal a lot of damage and if you get some more ap/tank then you can almost singlehandedly win teamfights. Most of all, just stick with it and keep trying.

i played amumu a bit awhile back, i kinda stopped when he couldnt full clear super easily anymore with full tank build.

I guess i could give him some play time. appreciate it.

but yeah 20/9/14 with eve, 25 stacks on meja for quite some time total. i was 10-3 at around 18 minutes, had first blood, made kled a sad panda all game, still BARELY win in a nail bitter.

If you enjoy playing jungle tanks, I would highly recommend continuing to play them.

IMO, tanks are extremely useful in low-ELO play due to the sheer number of players who pick squishy, low-CC champions (on both teams). Sometimes, simply having a tank is a massive advantage for your team composition since you have someone who can engage fights, peel and absorb damage.

However, I would probably recommend trying a tank other than Zac. While Zac is great and rather strong at the moment, I find that he generally relies on follow-up for his engages since his damage is a little low after the initial burst.

Alternatively, you could just alter your build to include a little more damage. Sorcerer Shoes and Liandry's Torment are very powerful offensive options on him. Zac deals almost entirely magic damage (especially when you factor in Cinderhulk, Thornmail and Gromp's buff) and packs a lot of CC, making very good use of Liandry's Torment's passive and the magic penetration they provide.

Personally, I would probably recommend you consider Gragas and Sejuani. Personally, I find that they have more reliable disruption and damage than Zac does while providing safer forms of engage for their team (since Sejuani can ult from a distance and Gragas can split apart the enemy team.

If you are looking for (rough) builds, I would probably recommend something along the following lines (though alter them as necessary for the game):

Sejuani item 3047 or item 3111 item 1409 item 3110 item 3190 item 3151 item 3075 Zac item 3020 or item 3111 item 1409 item 3143 item 3065 item 3151 item 3075 Gragas item 3047 or item 3111 item 1409 item 3025 item 3065 item 3742 item 3075

Personally, I try to get myself from by farming and ganking lanes (pushing the wave to tower after getting a kill) and just become an unkillable, disruptive nuisance. If I'm even moderately even, I deal great consistent damage and I'm extremely difficult for them to take down, letting me get off mutiple rotations of abilities during a fight (which is why I rush CDR early-game).

If you decide you want to move away from tank junglers and pick a more damage-oriented option, I'd recommend trying the following:

Volibear Trundle DrMundo Hecarim

They provide a lot of innate damage and durability while providing enough utility to be aggravating.
