Who is worse?

Serious question here for debate: Which of these is worse: Player1 goes 3/12/6 with 130 cs. Player2 goes 2/6/1 with 56 cs. Neither is playing support/has a support trinket.

My opinion:

Player2 is worse. An argument can be made for Player1 feeding of course, depending on how the rest of his team does. However, Player1 also has the better KDA and CS, which to me says Player2 wasn't really 'participating' in the game and/or got totally locked out in lane.

I personally prefer someone who will work with the team and take objectives, and if they die more, then at least it's a death to an end. You can play defensive, yes, but not wanting to poke your head out from around a turret doesn't help either - at some point you need to involve yourself in the game, and that means dying on occasion, right?
