I dont know how this works at all. I went from plat 3 MMR, lost 11 games in a row, and only went down to Gold 1. Then I lose the next 3, and im still in Gold 1 mmr. Then I win 1 game going 11/3/14 and I go up to high plat 5 mmr? Is it based of your kd or what?

GankedByWindows1 votesRiot doesn't release the exact MMR formula to prevent abuse. If we go by other, similar systems you get more MMR for winning a game that you are at a MMR disadvantage, and less for winning a game that you have a MMR advantage over your opponents. It is done solely by Win/Loss.
Additionally, you're using a third party to measure your MMR. Those sites aren't accurate, because they're only guesses. That is why you see those fluctuations.
