Ok, so about the AD vs AP itemization
I'm looking at the stats for 
and when you line them up against
or 
it seems like the damage dealing potential isn't even close. What is it thats supposed to make up for this?

- you 4 on hit items one of them being not even a full item
- the power gap is fromt he passive/actives + auto attacks, mages dont auto much but AD's do which makes that 100+ ish base AD worth something when you compound it with attack speed
- crit effectively doubles all AD bought meanign you get to double dip into yoru gold if you invent in crit
