whats the point of grading if you dont tell us how we can improve?

a teacher who writes B+ on your paper you're obviously left with questions like "well what could I have done differently"

so tell us riot, what was our biggest issue this time around?

Actually i like the idea of biggest + and - thataffected our score. Obviously a computer wouldnt be able to go in too much depth but sorta like how credit monitoring services do it would be iterestesting.

Technically they could implement this since the server is checking your stats vs everyone else's. Would be cool idea even though it should be obvious to most.

Here is the biggest grading factors:

  • CS: This is the most important, and weighed the most as you can see here: https://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/gameplay-balance/2EUzEq4L-i-have-exceeded-my-cs-quota. Basically, anything more than 150 CS in 20 minutes means you have a good chance of getting an S or higher.

  • KDA: You generally want to have as few as many deaths as possible while lots of kills and assists. However, I will say assists outweigh kills in points since you're contributing more to the team. I've had a 3/0/4 score KDA around 150ish CS and gotten an S- before

  • Objectives: I really don't know about this one but some people say placing more wards and taking more objectives will get you a better score. I personally haven't seen any correlation but it's up to Riot.

There really is no point in the grading. Everyone realized it was pointless 1-2 weeks after it came out. It just takes more effort than it is worth to remove the grading system so riot just left it in the game.

Not necessarily true, some players want more champion mastery points so they strive to get an S- or higher each game.

There is a bunch of sites that collect extra information if you want to compare yourself to other players and use that to decide what to do differently, example http://www.lolskill.net/summoner/NA/CrestKnight/champions
