Make pick intent unbannable

If someone hovers a champion, make that champion unbannable on that person's team.

The champion can still be banned by the enemy team, which so even if someone intents a FOTM pick the enemy team could still ban it.

This makes it completely impossible for an ally to troll you in champ select by banning your intent.

This makes it possible for the last-pick jungler hovering Zac to troll, too, by not letting us ban it so the enemy can first-pick it.

I get the intent behind this idea but it's not smart.

Not banning someone like Zac or Caitlyn despite it being unlikely your team would get them if left open just to be nice can cost you the game. I won't leave Zac open unless our jungler is one of the first to pick, because him even being in a game tilts the odds of victory in his team's favor. A lot of the time, I get it - if I don't like fighting someone but an ally wants to play them, USUALLY I'll keep the ban from going through. But champs that are just too strong right now aren't worth letting through the ban phase.

I agree with this.

  1. We need more incentive for players to hover. The amount of nonhovers is too high, this helps if even just a little.
  2. Teams shouldn't ban mates champions, especially in nonranked. But in ranked still, let the guy play what he wants. Maybe high ELO dislikes this, but if you are so concerned then organize a trade.

It is true sometimes it might be better to ban a champ that will get picked. But people just want to play.
