why does Twitch get to thrive as a Jungler but Kog'Maw got reverted for it

Kog'Maw in the jungle was WAY easier to counter than Kog'Maw in lane but he got Riots attention which lead to his nerfs. Anyone who disagrees needs to go back to the patch note BEFORE his revert patch note. Yet Twitch gets to jungle with little consequence, farm until he gets his items, gank when he wants to, then shred everyone late game. If we were to late Twitch jungle, then we need to balance him around that position AND botlane, not just botlane. I'm all for evolution of champions into different roles, but not for favoring one over the other.

If by thriving you mean having less than 1% pickrate and 45% winrate, then hell yea he is thriving. He's a cheese pick, he isnt really a viable jungler against teams who know how the game works, his only highlight is level 2 gank cheese

most data sources are inaccurate and what you have to look at is not people who try twitch jg out once but those who play him consistently otherwise the data is skewed. Kog'Maw was also considered a cheese pick but didnt shine until late game. his only highlight isn't just his level 2 cheese lmao. most junglers can do that

Anyone who puts time to perfect his cheese pick will have a high winrate as long as there is logic behind it, because he knows what he's doing but all it takes is 1 guy on the enemy team who is oblivious and he (twitch) can feed off that. Kog' was reverted because he became too toxic and nobody liked him standing in place and autoing you 5 times per second, not because he could jungle.

Me and fellow Kog'Maw one tricks were able to perfectly kite with the champion. Its not the champions fault that people don't know how to use him effectively. There were plenty ways to deal with Kog'Maw back then

I was a dirty jungle Kog player (he's still my second highest mastery champ actually) and that shit was busted. As soon as you hit 3 items you became a God

you aren't a Kog'Maw one trick and its your second highest at 38k. I'm sure it was people like you that played him like 20-30 times and did relatively well in low elo then came onto the boards and claimed he was extremely busted and needed to be dealt with.

you were 3 divisions lower than me. I was in promos for plat consistently. You also didn't play Kog'Maw in any ranked games so who knows if you were in a group of friends playing Kog'Maw jungle or who you were up against. I'm not trying to shit on you, I just don't know why you're talking about Kog'Maw like you've played hundreds of games on him.

Yeah, we are talking about s6 Kog'Maw. You stayed Gold 4 for 9 months man while your LP fluctuated ~ 20-30. It may not seem this way but the people who you play with at Gold 4 are very different than the people who you play with at Gold 1. I'm not saying that Gold 1 is substantially higher but I was competing with people who were about to lose their Platinum rank and were playing to keep it.

If he fails his level 2 gank his game turns into hell unless his team can actually help him gets his camps otherwise he will get none of them.

Twitch jungle is actually ridiculously easy to counter. If you play it right, you will make him useless beyond any chances to come back.

Keeping this non-biased, it's because thats what Riot wants. They balance their game the way THEY want, not based on champion pick/playrate and item picking. That's what keeps things interresting. If you've ever played DOTA long enough to go through a few patches, you'll realise they update based on who's played more and less and what items what person takes.

Riot balances league based on something else entirely, and that's what keeps it interesting enough for players to come back again and again. Yeah sure, Vayne is the most busted ADC this patch, but next patch or the next, she might be trash-tier and Kindred might be an OP ADC Pick.

I can agree with the issues it presents, but at least you know that you won't be facing the same issues patch after patch after.... well... item 3504 Nevermind...

But everything does get constant updates that change things, and with the new season starting you KNOW major changes are being implemented, as well as a few new items and possibly new champs that could completely alter the current meta. And most problems (keyword: MOST) do get fixed rather quickly, unless it's minor then its pushed to the back burner...
