for those thinking thats bad. you realize pretty much every newly released champion ever since ekko has had a winrtae of about 40% in the first patch. this 47% is gonna jump to over 55% in a cpl weeks. thats the highest winrate I've seen so far for a new champion. taliyah winrate was like 37% and few patches later with not much buffing if any she had 53% winrate.

Yeah, but maybe those champions had a steeper learning curve than Kled. Kled is easier to play than Taliyah so his winrate might not spike so dramatically once people figure him out as there's not much more beyond surface level compared to Taliyah.

Taliyah also had a very weak release kit. Riot tends to release champs with a lot of extra power so that people enjoy them and they see a lot of play. Then they get toned to reasonable levels. Taliyah was an exception to that rule because she was released in a very balanced state, so she isn't exactly a good example.

I really wish they'd make champions weaker on release. Because sure powerful champions are fun, but you get too used to their power that you lose respect for it when it gets nerfed.
