AP duo bot?
Considering how strong Lethality users are (and how often they are picked), why not just pick an AP mage instead of an ADC?
Tanks die just fine to AD casters, even more easily than to ADCs (unless they're very well peeled for AND the enemy has no assassin to watch out for), and towers fall just as easily to full-AP mages (some, like Ziggs and Azir, are even better than ADCs in that regard). (And this is not even considering the existence of Tryndamere, Yi, Yasuo, etc.)
A mage would also be able to hold a (brief) 2v1 without missing much farm, which lets the support roam more freely.
So, why not just pick a mage instead of a marksman?
