How do you Vlad in pre-season?

So with Strength of the Ages being removed, Hextech Protobelt loosing active damage and Rylai's being changed (probably will end up nerfed) how is Vlad even expected to keep up his abysmal win rate in SoloQ?

I know he's being played in pro-play but the only reason he's picked is to nullify Syndra's kill pressure. He's not even expected to go even in lane, he's expected to fall behind in CS and just not die under tower.

Without SotA what other mastery would even be close to useful? You want to spec into the Resolve tree for the increased healing % and the free tenacity but none of the other masteries appeal to him. DFT is meh because you don't tend to finish with a large amount of AP, TLD and Stormraiders are okay options but you loose the bonus healing from resolve or the points into the Ferocity tree for them.

I feel like Vlad has way more room to grow as the primary healing mage in League, he's way less oppressive that Swain or Akali and has decent counter play since his last update (and the huge amount of nerfs that followed).

Please Riot, don't leave poor Vlad in the dust for months again. Vladimir

P.s also my first post, be gentle.

I take deathfire touch on Vlad because you get lots of AP for building HP and vice versa. Probably nub for doing so but nyeh I like it,

Hitori de ronin , euw. Season 3-4-5 vlad otpDiamond 2-3 main here, ended up with %70 win rate at season4 end.

With the last huge buffs, no more building rylai's or belt on him. Just go pure ap maybe not even visage. Calculation says Abyssal is better than visage unless you want some tankiness for laning phase.

Pro's dont use SotA anymore, they do but vlad players actually don't like SotA. As you could see, h2k mid laner played all the games with stormriders. I guess thunderlords is better now since you build vlad ap( YOU HAVE TO).
