"We nerfed Veigar's E because point-click AoE stun is unhealthy"

Meanwhile Annie can instantly stun your entire team with huge burst (Her R and W are instant AoE), while Veigar's stun is hard to land because it is a thin wall not really AoE (because the inside of the cage has 0 effect on champions).

Fun fact is that both Annie & Veigar were fairly balanced in patch 5.3 because their cc and damage were a compensation for their lack of mobility.

Currently Veigar is just a caster minion and Annie is still a 'meh' pick as she was.

P.S: Goddammit this isn't a QQ thread about Annie, I'm just showing that Annie's stun is much easier to land than Veigar's E which can be juked easily.... Both of them aren't even great picks in SoloQ.

Oh right cause I forgot veigar's stun had a warning as to when it was off cd, and a warning to when he could do it, I also forgot that veigars stun had only 600 range, not the 1000~ that it can be used at

oh wait.

cough cough she can stun you with Q, W and R cough cough...... Do you even know what Annie is? Lmao She only needs to last hit minions 3 times with that 2 sec cd on kill and boom, stun up in 6 seconds.

Please don't comment if you don't at least have knowledge about both champions.

I know she can stun you with any of her abilities, its kinda obvious. But you know what also is obvious? Her stun, which is visible on her until she uses it.

Sooooooo, unlike Veiger who's only thing stopping him from stunning you was range, she has an indicator literally saying "Oh stay away, she has a stun ready." That's how you play against her, unless you enjoy being near her.

Last difference between the two, at 18 Annie's stun was only 1.75. Meanwhile Veigar is a 2.5 which is, when I checked considerably stronger for something that could be landed without any warning.

You can't land Veigar's stun easily, maybe trap them inside the cage, but not instantly stun them..... You know, they won't stay in the same spot for 1 minute waiting for you to land the edge of your E, don't forget that Annie's stun can be charged so fast, while Veigar's E has about 18 seconds CD. Who gives a crap about stun indicators? You know when Veigar/Annie is coming for you that they will stun you and try to kill you......

Except annie's super aoe stun is her ult... and veigar's was just a normal ability.

It's not her ult, it's her passive, she can stun you either with, Q, W and R (a damage ability), her R and W are both instant, so it should count as instant stun with a much lower cd (you can get your stun up in just 3 minion Qs)

He literally said Super AOE stun, referring to the ult, and which you yourself used in the example in your OWN POST. So don't go around correcting people when you yourself, made it seem like you were complaining about it.

You're referring to an ultimate ability, for which you had to charge up the stun first, as such you know when the stun is up and probably shouldn't try and punch her in the face.

Veigar could go, you look kind of in range, bam, stun, gg instaburst death with zero warning to the impending doom.

You already know that when Veigar is coming to you that he will try to stun you, and it's really hard to land his E perfectly (instantly stunning) because you know, it's not AoE, it's just a thin wall, if you just stood a little bit near Veigar you can dodge it easily, unless you keep running away in a straight line, then yes, he will stun you so easily....

Btw, Annie's W is ALSO instant and actually AOE not a thin wall.

Ya, you can see when Annie is ready to stun, unless she sits on 3 charges then uses E a split second before pressing R, thus negating the visibility of her stun being up and removing even more counterplay from her stun for pretty much no effort.
