Darius wins. As Darius play it safe early on (go cloth 5 if you need to). Once you build 40 armor you win all trades against him in lane (assuming you did not feed him multiple kills). You have an ultimate used in skirmishes and Panth does not. Your Q base damage is very high, if he gets in your danger zone he is in deep trouble.

For most of the following, I would recommend starting Cloth5 and taking either Health Regen or Armor quints. Doran's Shield is a viable option, but not really optimal.

Mundo - Farm with Cleavers and outscale him. Build Sunfire Cape and Randuin's Omen early.

Cho'gath - Pantheon will run out of mana before you run out of health if you are last-hitting minions. Eventually, you get too tanky for him to really affect and your base damages will kill him.

Irelia - Innate sustain and she can easily farm against ranged champions (so Pantheon's Q isn't too bad to deal with). Get some early armor before building Trinity Force and avoid fighting early and you will outscale him.

Malphite - Make use of your passive shield and build early armor. Eventually, you will get to a point where Pantheon can't push you out of lane and you can beat him.

Nasus - Innate sustain and you can passively farm under tower. Build Frozen Heart early and, assuming you don't die early, there isn't much Pantheon can do to you.

Poppy - Funnily enough, Pantheon passive doesn't block Poppy's Q and Poppy gets free armor from her W, so she does surprising well against him. You are still a Poppy though, so I wouldn't recommend trying this unless you are pretty experienced with Poppy.

Taric - Rush Iceborn Gauntlet into Sunfire Cape and you will crush Pantheon, assuming you don't play stupidly. Pantheon can't really do much against 200 armor after you finish Iceborn Gauntlet.

Yorick - Innate sustain and I believe your Ghouls will either trigger his passive (wasting it) or ignore his passive (dealing damage) [Not sure on this interaction and can't be bothered to check]. Get Iceborn Gauntlet after your Tear of the Goddess/Manamune and you're golden.

Maokai - Pantheon using abilities will trigger your passive for sustain, you get very tanky, you can farm from a decent range, and most of your damage is from your abilities.

Darius - He's Darius. That's really all that needs to be said.

So I used to play a lot of Panth, and I have to disagree with the Nasus here. Panth farms the puppy like a minion.

Could depend on playstyle. If Nasus plays passively and gives up unsafe CS, he should be able to survive the lane. He might be a bit behind compared to some champions, but if he survives until he gets Frozen Heart or Iceborn Gauntlet he shouldn't have many issues. This is mostly my experience though, so it may vary depending on the players' skill levels and jungle pressure.

Darius really has no excuse to be missing his Q. Its so painfully easy to land. In my book this is Darius' easy lane hands down. If pantheon is casting his spear darius can walk up and use his Q, If Pantheon missuses his E or W Darius can pull him and out trade him easily. The match is slightly in pantheons favor levels 1 and maybe 2 then level 3 Darius has the slight advantage, post 6 the lane is Darius' even if pantheon has 2 kills. Darius just has high early damage so he can afford to go tanky and pantheon cannot afford to go tanky early.

disagree with Irelia and shen Irelia is too vulnerable to his early poke and his stun+ block can keep you from getting too much damage back onto him. Late game Irelia is definitely worth more though in team fights if you didn't fall too far behind Shen suffers from if you land your taunt Panth will still out damage you. Panth starting flask can sustain more than you and chunk you with spears (yes shen's q can poke too just not nearly as much) I do like how you can follow him when he ults to another lane and, if you get a good taunt, win that fight easily.

Nasus , kill him all your want. If you even ignore him for one second that Q stack will smack you in the face. But then farm him all game and at one point he'll kill you.

pretty much depends on what u mean by 'Beat'. But Garren usually got a rather easy time, enough sustain to withstand the spears, silence+raw damage and tankiness to win all in trades, same for renekton(stun instead of silence though).

Kayle Start flask just like Panth will, you can out trade him just don't let him have free harass. Make sure you farm (you can sacrifice 2-3 cs to avoid getting chunked while your cd's are up) Late game you are a nightmare and panth really cant bully you out of lane. Ping if panth leaves lane, cant let him get fed off others and make sure to group with your team as early as possible and just push objectives.

Start cloth 5 and shield.

Shield negates almost the entirety of his Q by itself. His passive cant stop all of your passive procs. And you actually have a power spike at level 6 whereas he doesnt.
