I try to support the balance team but I hate it when they destroy off builds like this.

In the way that he did as much damage as an assassin while still building full tank after bork.

I guess you went against a lot of Fizzes that didn't hug tower before level 4? Or you yourself didn't. His ability to trade even without items was pretty much unparalleled. Press w, press Q, E out. Or just E him and keep autoing so he can say goodgye to 30% of his health.

If he gets even a bit ahead, then he gets to do a ton of damage while being very tanky while also being extremely slippery with his e. When he was strong, he got to do everything. Ap fizz is balanced around needing to use his e well or getting completely destroyed. Ad fizz ignores that weakness almost completely when he is ahead.

The counterplay for a champion can not just be "never let them get ahead". They need counterplay even when they are ahead, and bruiser fizz has very, very little of that.

The problem is that this build let Fizz do all the Fizz stuff without losing too much damage and he could still be competent even when he was on all cds, which is supposed to be when Fizz is vulnerable. It had no REAL weaknesses, so they took it away from him.

Just because people aren't building it doesn't mean it's destroyed. It just means AP Fizz is better. AD Fizz may well still be workable, but people aren't going to bother with it if AP is performing better. And given AD Fizz is an "off build", it's not a failure on Riot's part that AP is overshadowing it again.

I do still build Hybriz with fizz as jungler. But it works well when I play with my Bronze account. Apart from that fact, Hybrid and AD fizz is still as good as any burst DPS champ. When ion jungle I rush devourer, while when I'm MID or Top I rush Trinity or Zhonya's depending on opponent's ability to CC.
