@Riot How is stealth going to be changed as to not being OP or garbage if pinks don't work anymore?

Right now, pretty much the main reason is that every single stealth-using champion is hard countered by pinks, and while I get the idea/philosophy is the same as removing QSS' effect on things like Zed/Fiora/Trundle/etc ult, I fail to see how this will help.

WIthout pinks, there will not be any reliable way to ward for a gank for champions like Rengar or Shaco or the similar who can simply traverse the entire distance a normal ward would cover while still in stealth.

This also removes a lot of the chances of fighting back, because most of said stealth champions are assassins that go after solo/low health targets, but if you simply cannot see them at all because the duration of the stealth lasts long enough to skip past normal wards, they're going to be absurdly strong.

I feel like this will end up with stealth champions becoming nightmare fuel. Or getting gutted. Or the former which will lead into the latter.

It sounds like dealing damage to an invisible champion causes them to shimmer like a Predator with a damaged stealth thingy. In other words, make sure you have some source of dot damage and plenty of skillshots against invisible foes so you can blow them up.

Problem with this though, is that (and this mostly applies in the laning phase) you can't see them to know they're nearby to begin with, and even if you know they're in the surrounding area (say a ward spots them in river near your lane) you won't be able to see them walk into lane while stealthed, thus having no idea where or when to attack.
