So why did Nocturne get an AP scaling on his passive?

At the start of the season almost every jungler and top laner with any sort of AP scaling was building rageblade, so they gave some champions ap scaling to give that extra bit of oomph with the effects of rageblade. But rageblade got changed, so I don't think anybody would build it on nocturne now unless they intend to go full carry.

IMO, I play a bit of Noc, thematically and balance wise it would be nice to let him ghost through terrain when using Q.

Not too OP and pushes him in a more thematic direction.

Yes, but in that case Riot would increase CD on his Q which would be way worse than his current Q imo. Letting him pass the terrain when using Q without hitting him hard anywhere else is huge buff which would potentially lead to an even bigger nerf which I wouldn't like to happen to one of my mains.

You have champs with LITERALLY more PASSIVES than Noc has abilities and passives combined.

They could give his passive AD scaling AND add "ignores terrain while on dusktrail".

Look, I agree with you, you are right no doubts but we all know what riot does to old champions when they get buffed? Do you really think they care for Azir's or Ekko's overloaded kits or about Yasuo's retarded passive? Hell no, they don't. In the other hand, they nerfed Cinderhulk AND like that wasn't enough, they also nerfed Sejuani to the ground lol. It's Riot logic and believe me or not, if they implement that change to his Q and Passive there's no way they won't herf him hard somewhere else.

I love when people get mad like this...like OMG the CD has gone from 12 sec to 15 hurr hurr broken.

NOT when the ability was used ONCE per fight anyways.

The ONLY thing a CD nerf would do is make his clear the tiniest bit slower.

When I mentioned CD I was worried about his early jungle which isn't that good anyways. He is way too squishy first few levels and he needs to snowball early. God if someone tries to counterjungle you...Shaco, Skarner, Udyr, Lee, you simply can't duel them so you will either die or be forced to flash. If someone messes up your initial jungle clear, as Nocturne you can easily fall behind and never pick up unless enemy team is braindead.

It still doesn't matter. Early levels you use your Q once per camp. AND each camp will take you 15 seconds to do PLUS travel time to next camp. This literally changes nothing for jg now that i truly think about it.

Mid game I don't even Q cause it's a waste of mana when you have %dmg items.

I really like your idea actually and I don't think it would be that much broken. Just clarify how it works when he Qs a long wall like the one next to the inner turret of the bot lane. Since the q doesn't do through the entire wall , how would he go about it ?

It would only be used where flash normally would reach. NOT like a bard portal...where it take the whole wall but a set distance.

So those champions are aids with the shit they can do but they are also limited in their power because of it. You're saying just because their kits are retarded that nocs should be aswell? Then let's do that for every champion while we're at it.

Well no shit they're changing nocturne, he's boring and no one plays him. That doesn't make him weak though far from it. That doesn't mean they're gonna let him walk through walls while having a spell shield, gap closer, fear, empowered auto attack and assassin levels of burst.

Considering I've never duo queued even once for ranked within the last 2 years. No it's not just a rank.

And actually they do. Riot always asks pro players about balance and what the main issues of the game are. Do they ever ask silver player? No they don't. Again you have no idea what you're talking about but pretend you do, nice.

there still needs to be a reworked mana manipulator that converts 100% of mana into HP. Wastes an item slot but vastly increases build diversity.

It was for when he bought Guinsoo's Rageblade, but most Nocturne builds I've seen usually don't end up with it. (at least in my experience.)

Because he was building guinsoos/devourer. Devourer got nerf batted but Nocturne wasn't really over performing too much. After nerf he was slightly lower so compensation buff through guinsoo.

P.S. I'm talking out my ass cause I have no clue about nocturne buff/nerf cycles cause I never see his ass played over the likes of Xin/Yi when they are strong.
