Thoughts on Swain?

His winrate isn't problematic and is fairly balanced, but because of his almost non-existent pick rate, its quite hard to tell if he is actuallydecent or insanely bad to the point he isn't even played.

To be honest, he feels like an utility pick (like some or most control mages should be) but his whole concept revolutes around landing CCs and sustain and, sadly, both of these are fairly hard to achieve by himself, evne if he is a solo laner. His damage is lacking, his CC is unreliable if the opponent is aware of its path, his passive (both its sustain and active effect) isn't reliable enough unless in teamfights and, finally, his ultimate barely feels impactful at all, especially when compaired to similar ults like who brings much more efficiency along with actually impactful kits, in fact both the healing drain and the damage (including the final burst, even at maxed souls) barely feels comparable to the raw powerhouse it felt it was when it got recently reworked.

Of course, the fact that is barely picked because there's virtually no reason to use him over is also a major factor on why he feels so weak, but still.
