Why does it take so long to get level 1-30?

Shut up, it doesn't take long at all since they cut the xp needed to get to 30 in half last season

It takes almost no time at all.. A lot of the current issues with awful imbalances in ranked is due to the massive reduction in time needed to reach 30, and people with 30-50 total pvp games being matched with people who have 800 or 2000. Needless to say, they have no idea what they are doing and unavoidably drivethrough feed.

back in my day it took 300 games or more to get to level 30 now its half that or less... stop complaining

Honestly hope Riot sets a PvP match minimum that stops players from entering ranked until they've played (possibly won?) XX number of SR PvP matches. Halving the EXP required sucks when you get matched with people who have been playing for like a month at most (I've been playing for almost 4 years, it's annoying af). The only thing halving the EXP required did was help Challenger smurfs make more smurf accounts.

I'm not sure I'm getting a consistent message between your thread title and your thread contents.

If you're suggesting everyone is still trash at 30 with the currently leveling time, then wouldn't making the 1-30 process take longer (thereby forcing people to be more experienced and hopefully less trash by level 30) be appropriate?

And yet your thread title seems to be suggesting 1-30 is something that takes 'so long' which makes it sound like you think it should be shorter.
