She offers many strategic options when you're playing against her.

  1. Run at her and get shot at from 650 range.
  2. Run from her and get shot from 650 range.
  3. Hug tower and get shot at from 1300 range.

Thank you Riot, truly a pleasure to play against caitlyn.

I also enjoy getting 2 jungle routes towards global objectives getting blocked at the same time. I also enjoy stepping on a trap and getting hit from blue to dragon for half my health because she needs 1300 range crits. At least with Vayne, I need to be in her face for her to 3 hit me.

My absolute favorite part is her having an escape that also gives her bonus damage WHILE i'm being slowed not factoring in her support's peel. Thank you Riot! The epitome of design.

I think the trap limit should be set at 4 atleast, and/or the range of her passive be reduced by any amount at all.

The whole point of caitlyn is to be a area control adc with long range. I understand the idea and think its actually super cool but the fact that caitlyn can trap off an enemy base exit, then safely hit the tower from 650, and any attempt to get rid of the traps will result in the enemy taking atlweast 75% chunk and caitlyn safely dealing out the damage. She can also trap off an entire jungle river entrance. If riot wants to make her an area control adc they should make it to where her traps make you move in to certain chokes, not completely negating the enemies attempt into an area. Theres little/no counter play unless you have a spellshield or a tank who doesnt mind getting fucked super hard. Only way this doesnt happen is if the cait is behind and useless.

Caitlyn traps do feel like a bit of a problem.

Yesterday I blocked an entire path with 4, and placed my 5th in the other path's bush in ascension.

I sat there just clicking the crystal, ending the game with with 7/8/9 kda and roughly 60 points earned alone. Nobody really contested the crystal because they couldn't do anything about the traps.

I know it's not the same as SR, but it shows a similar problem. The enemy team didn't even care to try because my one spell made it too complicated.

My biggest issue with Caitlynn is how she can wall off an entire route to force opponents to either walk the long way around or take a bullet.

As a Leona I have no problem against caits, I simply deny her trap walls by walking into them intentionally, bully her. and take ults for my adc. Not really seeing how any of the problems anyone is mentioning is that hard to work around.
