Shen Jungle build?

I discovered Shen today and I find him to be a lot of fun, but I was curious about what build is best for him if I do take him jungle. I see a lot recommending undying and aftershock but I was curious if precision would be better on him. He has decent damage and builds like a bruiser/tank, almost the exact same items I run on Warwick but I feel like he doesn't stack tank quite well enough in jungle to benefit from undying and aftershock so I was curious if building like I do Warwick rune wise would be better on him.

Any tips would be nice! Thanks :D

Shen ganks are pretty lackluster early. You could try predator to make your ganks a bit more reliable. If not, aftershock is probably best for when you hit those big taunts. Just be sure to layer your W with the aftershock effect so as not to waste the resist boost it gives.

Slow clears low low damage to hard to jungle with him

Ah okay, I mean... I don't clear camps any slower on him than I do Warwick. Warwick's damage unless building straight AP is very lackluster compared to how slow he stacks tanky stats. He was my first mastery 7 toon and I can see why he's only an E tier jungler. It's only Warwick's engage and CC that makes him viable imo. I've recently swapped him out for better options like Nunu who can steamroll everyone xD But I will give aftershock another go. So far I have won all my 1v1 scuttle duels with Shen so that's promising.

So, Shen's one of my most played champions (the most, actually), but i only recently started being actually good at jungling. It's true what they say, you dont have fast clear speed, BUT: that's about half the truth. See, the % magic dmg on your Q does wonders against huge monsters with high hp, like the two buffs, or the frog, or even the beetle, but for it to work, i usually add a little bit of something extra, my own spice: I go on and upgrade to item 1416 . See, that way, your basic attacks do a ridiculous amount of dmg when using your Q, and it's ideal for cutting down enemy tanks in those early ganks. You can also test it on the scuttler, E+Q only takes about 3 hits to kill it. It's not something to cheer for, but not many junglers can kill it in 3 seconds, at 15 mins in-game.
Now, i know, "But mate, what about item 1401 ??". Well, truth be told, i dont really like it. It focuses too much on making you a tank, and keeps your dmg output against anything but monsters to a rock-bottom minimum, and the time it will take you to build a item 3748 for a 2nd item (which i also dont like) is too long. The Bloodrazor on the other hand gives you a ton of dmg throughout the game very fast, and with it you can easily destroy dragons or the "Meta-Beetle". On a more general note (that might be just me), Shen looks more powerful to me when played with on-hit item 3091 than the Hydra. The latter is very important when playing top to clear quickly, but Wit's End can help you pull off those 3 empowered aa's lightning-fast. Besides that, yeah, you ARE slower in clearing camps, and should best avoid it altogether in the early game, the raptors will chew right through you. You could go for the large monster of the group using W, then least and return later for the others, to get some xp but not lose all your hp. To answer your main question, i usually upgrade the jungler item and buy some of these item 1042 item 1028 item 2055 with any excess gold in the 1st-2nd recalls. You will buy a item 3068 after the Bloodrazor, cant do without it, and then it's all situational. If you feel like you've got enough sustain for the moment you could go for the WIt's End, but best go for at least another tank item first, cause you are after all, a tank. item 3075 this little fella is a nice 3rd-4th item against teams with lots of aa's but doesnt give too much hp, so you could go for the big gun item 3083 to instantly tank yourself up. About the runes... i prefer "Press the Attack", and the suitable runes below, you're capable of finding them i guess. Also like the "Inspiration" secondary tree, with free boots and cosmic insight. Truth is, your cd's are long, and you're very dependent on your abilities and the 3-min long ult, so yeah, cosmic insight and extra CD in "offence" is my way to go.
