highlights and core things
dark harvest, enables you to go full tank while still bringing kill the carry esq damage.
side tree into sorcery and pick up ultimate hat + celerity. more ults for olaf.
core build is

and any other HP itemized items you can get. 4k hp with 300 armor and 140 mr is pretty good. not ideal for tank but you're olaf, youre more focused on damage and going where you please, and ultimate hat and ms helps you do that.
the secret to actual damage output is dark harvest, its so incredibly easy for olaf to powerfarm and get 200+ stacks reliably that whenever you start the fight your first auto attack is going to chunk a carry on the spot for over a third of their health. olafs true damage E and titanic hydra procd autos are quite devastating once you reach the carry, which you're going to do with your ultimate hat enabled ultimate.
hes very strong early and late game, hes a tad weaker in the mid game as he wont have high amounts of armor or damage yet. but because hes olaf hes going to win 1v1s and ganks in the early game allowing him to build a lead.
i've noticed a lot of other olafs going down the green tree but thats a mistake right there, theres nothing there for him to capitalize off of. olaf isn't front lining damage for a team, hes creating positioning for the team and removing enemy carries from play. grasp on olaf just isn't a thing, its not strong enough and its certainly not going to extend his life expectancy with how item dependent he is on tankyness in the late game.
