None of the keystone masteries seem particularly useful for a support oriented Zilean. I just ended up using Thunderlord's Decree (for the first time ever, btw) because nothing else fit quite as well. And even that felt incredibly sub-optimal. Any suggestions for someone wanting to play as League's Foxiest Grandpa this preseason?

Thunderlord is the best option for him.
None of the other masteries really fit.
Hit the stun and one auto and gg. (Or build Luden's)
TBH thunderlord's, not because it's OP but it seems the most likely one to use on Zilean. I mained him for a good 60 games on main before the keystones came out
edit: you noted that Windspeaker's works with ult heal, it depends on how you play. If you are all in agressive than both thunderlord's and windspeakers will work for you.
Windspeakers isn't worth it. You're playing without a Keystone until 6 and even when you ult. it's not guaranteed to proc. It seems absolutely godawful and makes no sense. This is a mastery for champions which have built in heals (Nami, Soraka, Sona, Janna) and shields not just an ult. Thunderlords is clearly best on support and likely best on mid too.
Thunderlord's seems like the best option for him, welcome to 95% of the champion pool.
