There's also the fact that noodles are man made and they may be cooked with different flavors.

I agree. I don't know why but Spiralled Macaroni or the ones with the silly shapes... somehow taste different than normal... I prefer the shapes... I can't come up with a reason cause I was like maybe more cheese gets stuck in it? No, cheese can also get stuck in elbow macaroni... HMMMM THIS IS A GREAT MYSTERY INDEED

I can't explain why, but the Spongebob Mac and Cheese tastes 100% better than the normal kind.
