Ok i'm gonna say it this game has become just a mobile game for PC since about season 4

Became less and less about gameplay and more and more about LCS and skin sales

Look I know that balancing the game around the best players makes sense on paper but when most of the playerbase is fucking silver then why even care?

When did this stop being either a game or an esport more start being a hype factory for the next skin?

Like seriously, do you guys really think that riot doesn't know how to revert a busted champion?

I mean arbitrarily the same champions get overbuffed and then overnerfed, it's either Ezreal Lucian Lux Ahri season or it's Vayne Ashe Malphite Sejuani season

And FRESH SKINS FOR ALL

All the kda champions received nerfs a patch or two prior to there release so I'mma say a solid no.

There's some strange buffs on the PBE and those champs are overdue skins

So every time a champ gets a new skin and was recently buffed is riot wanting money but let's disregard all the skins that have been released after or close to a champion nerf ?

and yet ahri is still arguably the best midlaner for like 8 months

Except for all the times she hasn't been?

Ahri is rarely, if ever, the best midlaner. She's usually always good, but never the best.

It's always been about LCS and Skin sales... Because last time i checked Riot was a company not a Non-profit

It's not on paper, pros know how to play champion to the point of abusing the smallest thing that could give them an edge over other champs.

Also hy would you balance the game around people who are still learning how to play it?

Or people that don't want to learn how to play it better and are just playing it casually as a hobby.

When did this stop being either a game or an esport more start being a hype factory for the next skin?

When skins started to look much better than what they used to, i would say it started with Spirit Guard Udyr.

And besides the only time they hipe skins is when it's either a line of skins or it's an ultimate or legendary skin...

I doubt anybody thinks that, because they have reverted "busted" champions a lot of times remember Rengar, LeBlanc, Kog'maw etc,.

Usually what happens is that a champion goes from "busted" right back to "broken"

i'd change that to late season 5. early season 5 they could at least still justify their changes

as for a mobile game, the money gimmicks, maybe, but mobile games are in their own class of weird. Some look awesome but are really simple, some look simple and are very awesome, almost everything is misleading, almost everything requires a good internet provider, and a lot of the free content is as good or better than some paid content

it's a crazy world in the phone gaming, but most of it is single player

as for league, it's the culmination of a lot of bad decisions that has things going wrong
