Do Triforce and Sterak really work together?

I was wondering, cuz I have been using this combo lately and it's super fun when you 1 vs 1 all those pesky assassins.

But then again, Spellblade active states the Sheen proc scales off BASE AD, while Sterak gives BONUS AD.

Why those 2 items have great synergy after all?

they were originally built together simply because steraks granted more base AD and tri has sheen procs which works with base ad ... more base ad more damage on sheen procs but it was removed but

the 2 items compliemnt each other damage + strong defence in 2 items also with the abundance of high damage and true damage the HP + shield and that etra damage works really well for the meta

The interaction between Sterak’s base AD and Triforce base AD scaling was removed, but it’s still a decent combination for other reasons. One is that Triforce gives good Attack Speed but little AD. Steraks gives that AD, so autoattack damage goes up. Another is that Triforce is a generic damage steroid, and Steraks has a generic defensive steroid. It’s a cookie-cutter build that works in nearly every situation. These two items are hardly the absolute best, but for a player who is trying to ignore build strategy in favor of learning a champion or top lane in general, it’s a good choice.

People still build it because they give bruisers dmg, hp, tenacity and a shield. It might deal bonus AD but the bonus AD still has a lot of synergy with a lot of bruisers (Irelia passive, Jax Q/E, Darius entire kit, Garen Q,Camille E & Q & W)) So on and so forth.
