Health, more tankiness, AD, and it costs less than almost all other Legendary items now.

The passive isn't gonna make you win 1v1 or 2v2 vs the other lane unless the enemy ADC rushed RageBlade and is doing nothing but low damage attacks with high attack speed. Hell even then I think the Rageblade wins.

Rageblade on Kog is a high damage item.
VoraciousX3 votesADCs can't use it. I went Nasus vs Corki one game and he had like 500 or so damage reduced while I had like 6000 damage reduced. It won't be good on ADCs unless they're in the middle of the fight, which they shouldn't be and probably will still be dying. It MIGHT be good on Lucian, because he's short ranged, but not sure. One thing though is you have to BUILD AD. Most ADCs don't actually BUILD much AD, they're mostly building attack speed with one or two AD items.
Judah the Hammer3 votesFor about the same gold, you'll be much better off to get Stormrazor first item, as ADC. ADC will rather have the Attack Speed and the Crit passive, than tankiness. Besides, Dragonheart is not useful to ADC because of the range limit required.

B)You have to be really near to 3 ppl in order to activate the Unique passive.
Conclusion: Literally 0 adcs will buy it as first item, it's literally trash on them. And even later will be probably not bought by adcs since you need to have 3ppl diving you to get the sweet Unique passive.

DragonShea1 votesLook at it like this, Shojin doesn't do shit against burst, and you need tankiness to make good use of it. What use is it gonna be when you take 500 damage per hit and have 35 flat damage reduction. sure you only take 1395 damage in total but it's still a shit load of damage to take. Compare that to a fighter that is gonna have the resistances and HP to reduce more damage by virtue of having more survivability. having 3500 HP while having nearly double the armor is gonna mean more net damage reduction.
In short, the tankier you are the more you benefit from Spear of Shojin even if you have higher bonus AD because you need a lot for it to become OP. I'd say that

are gonna be the main champ that are gonna be a problem with this item as a fed knife cat is gonna be hard to kill due to his W countering burst and his insane AD is gonna make it hard for him to be shot down.
