#item 3301 Ancient Coin Line

Context: The idea arround these changes is to provide more active gameplay for the build line. The Ancient Coin Line is probaly one of the most punishing lines to start roaming as a support. While it brings nothing to the team in the lane fase. Giving a rewards for roam should ballance this out. Currently if you roam you will not benefit from the FAVOR passive. And lose sustain & gold in the process.

item 3096 Nomad's Medallion

  • New UNIQUE Passive: You generate Conservation stacks every 1.5 seconds, up to 80. Granting an assist will consume up to 40 stacks and grant 1 bonus gold per stack consumed. Killing a minion disables this passive for 12 seconds. [NOTE: This will not replace the FAVOR passive!!!]

item 3069 Talisman of Ascension

  • New UNIQUE Passive: You generate Conservation stacks every 1.5 seconds, up to 80. Granting an assist will consume up to 40 stacks and grant 1 bonus gold per stack consumed. Killing a minion disables this passive for 12 seconds. [NOTE: This will not replace the FAVOR passive!!!]

#item 3303 Spellthief's Edge Line

Context: This small buff can make Frost Queen's Claim upgrade a more intressting item to get early. With a little bit more cc it will be easyer to land poke to the enemy and gives more rewards to use the slow on enemy champions.

item 3092 Frost Queen's Claim

  • Buff UNIQUE - TRIBUTE: Your next damaging ability or autoattack against a champion or structure will deal 15 additional damage and grant 10 gold. A champion will also be slowed by 50% for 0.5 second. You generate one charge of Tribute every 10 seconds, storing up to 3.

#End

I'm not a expert in the exact values so the values that are suggested could be to low or to high for this idea to work. Feel free to send feedback on this ;)

Good idea. But we'll have to nerf Sona to compensate for the sudden buff she gets. E power chord now slows for half the value, and to add some strategic diversity since then it'll almost never be used, we'll also nerf W and Q power chord to keep them on equal power level.

Good thinking, Sona's already way out of control as it is we need to keep her in check.

Whe might get away with it guys. It doesn't effect her burst ^^

You're right, we'll need to nerf her burst too. Lets remove the AP scaling on her Q.

Supports don't need more gold since they were originally designed to do well without much at all. I'm all for supports gaining more gold if they are focused more around utility and CC than damage. When a Support champion can go 1v1 against a bruiser or tank and not be deleted or ignored they are too strong. These changes would be amazing though, if supports were made to scale with gold in a more healthy manor.

How dare you disagree with the circle jerk fest and make a good point. You should be banned. >:(

Glad somebody gets the point of a support.

I agree with the Intent but maybe not so much the Execution. The Ancient coin rout look like it would become a tad too Oppressive with Two different gold generation passive. The Idea with the coin was that it was the low risk low reward item meant for Support who play more passively, Like Janna.

The biggest Problem with the Frost Queen's line is that it's basically made for Support to Translate into APC's. (because the Tribute passive is no longer disable after Frost queen's is complete.) And Yet it can't give enough AP for a high AP scaling Support (maybe because midlaners would pick it up.)

But the Reason why I feel supports need a gold buff is because of the Dragon Changes. They did move some of the gold onto minions and towers, but you will not be farming minions as a support.

I think the biggest problem with the Coin is that it literally does nothing early game, which is when you need to get it. It either needs HP regen by default, in addition to it's (very low) mana regen, or it needs the passive gold generation from the start.
