Change to Mordekaiser's W

Funkin Dunkin··2 votes·788 views

So Mordekaiser has the slowest base movement of all tanks/bruisers. He has no gap close like Riven or Wukong. He's almost there but the problem is he is outran by even mages simply because they get things like Luden's which far outscales the MS of Deadman's. Full Deadman charge with boots and 4.5% MS and you're still only looking at 440 MS compared to Skarners 538. So this is how we fix this.

W Changes to casted on ENEMY champions. Remove ally minions and champion target. Damage remains and movement speed remains the same as long as he moves TOWARD the enemy champion.

Smallest change ever might actually make this 330 MS champion viable again.

Morde used to be viable. He is viable only in very specific match ups now where the enemy team needs to consist of mostly Melee champions like Yasuo, Lee Sin, and Trynd.

I actually think that would be the perfect fix. oh and his MS is 325 without move speed quints Edit: although maybe make it to where you can choose to put it on enemys, allys, or ally minions.

DMP > Luden's. They'd need 600 movespeed for it to be otherwise, and mages dont get 600 movespeed without Stormraiders or something.

Also, Morde's a juggernaut. He's supposed to be slow. Rework the rest of him before making him fast.

Obviously you've never looked at his movement speed while wearing these things. It was already clearly stated that his movement speed doesn't even break 440 with DMP.

Also, there are a TON of juggernauts that have gap closing or speed boosts that Morde simply does not. DrMundo Garen Gnar Hecarim Irelia JarvanIV LeeSin Maokai Nasus (5 second slow) Nautilus Olaf Pantheon Renekton Sejuani Shen Sion Skarner Trundle Volibear Warwick MonkeyKing Yorick

Geez...looks like Morde is missing a very specific kit that all these juggers have that he doesn't.

Point is, Luden's gives 10% movespeed, DMP gives 60 flat. In order for Luden's to be greater than DMP, they need exactly 600 movespeed. It's called math.

Gnar, Heca, Irelia, J4, Lee, Maokai, Nautilus, Olaf, Pantheon, Renekton, Sejuani, Shen, Skarner, and Wukong are not juggernauts. Did you literally just call Lee a juggernaut? Jesus fucking christ.

Also, Morde's got a toxic champion design. Giving him movespeed means he's viable. A toxic champion should not be viable. End of story. At least, that's what Riot thinks (Aatrox Urgot )

Sounds to me more like you just have a personal vendetta against Morde. What about him makes him toxic? He's a melee killer, not an over all assassin like Zed or a sniper like Lux. He has a very specific role, kill anything without range. The problem is anything he's still slower than the people he's supposed to be killing.

Side note, DMP isn't 60, its 50. And that's 50 on top of 390 MS which equals 440 MS. That means a mage with 400 MS + 10% from Luden is already on par with his DMP. Your argument about needing 600 MS just to match DMP is void.

The fact that you view any champion as toxic means you shouldn't even be in this thread. There's no such thing as a toxic champ. That would imply he is bad for the game. You then fall into the same category of the Nerf Yas cry baby league. Viable doesn't make him unbalanced. It makes him do the job he was intended on doing since his change from an Off-Tank Mage to strictly Jugger.

I have no idea, except Riot said he is, and they usually have a decent reason to keep things in the gutter.

I've rarely ever seen a Morde, so I've nothing against Morde at all.

I said you need 600 MS to get the same amount of bonus movespeed. Not to match his total movespeed.

I'm fairly sure Urgot, Aatrox, Morde, Galio, and that's about it, are considered toxic by Riot. I don't know enough about them to judge for myself, so I'm inclined to believe them.

I have never seen riot say that any specific champion is "toxic". That would imply that they are not good for the game and would suggest they would WANT to tweak them to make them "not toxic". However, as most companies do, focus on things that will make them money. IE: Lee Sin. How for years they refused to nerf him because of his high level of play in all levels of League on top of the fact, the amount of Skins that are sold with it. Maybe by toxic it is simply toxic to their bank account because since no one even uses these champions they are simply burning a hole in their wallet and are deemed toxic.

Morde with movement speed will not break the game. He will not magically become some supertank that will whipe out entire teams by himself like Katarina or Illaoi. He will not magically kill someone in less than a second like Katarina, Veigar, Syndra, or a properly built Teemo. He wont out tank entire teams like Skarner or Nautalis. Yes he would dominate games that the enemy team is mostly melee. But so would Nasus, Skarner, or Rammus. He isn't a special anomaly that will suddenly crash the ranks of League. He would simply be viable.

I dunno man, prenerf post rework Morde was some pretty bad stuff.
